Kitchener (ON) Fire dispatch toned out P4, P3, A1, and Car 23 for a possible fire at 155 Kinzie Ave February 21, 2019 at 10:30. Responding crews were updated by police that there was heavy smoke in the building. P7 was added to the call at this point as R1 was out of service doing ice water rescue training. P4 arrived on scene with nothing visible, but quickly changed to smoke showing from the main floor. Two lines were pulled to the side door to attack the fire. The first line in worked on the main floor, and the second line went upstairs. There was very little fire, as it had mostly burned itself out. Regional Police and Kitchener fire prevention are investigating the cause of the suspicious fire. Photos and video shot a couple of minutes after crews arrived. Box 690 provided rehab for the fire.

Kitchener, ON firefighters responded to 111 Second Ave for an early morning house fire May 8, 2017. P4 arrived on scene reporting heavy fire venting from the front bedroom window. Firefighters pulled an unconscious women from the home who was transported to a local hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. Crews were pulled from the structure once the occupant was found. Heavy fire vented from the front and rear windows and eventually took hold of the attic. The Ontario Fire Marshall has been called in to determine the cause of the $150,000 blaze. Box 690 provided rehab.

Kitchener, Ontario firefighters were dispatched to 68 Shirley Ave for smoke in the factory, March 16, 2017, at 17:17. P2 arrived on scene reporting smoke coming from the roof of the office. It was being repaired by a local roofing company. The fire was knocked down in 10 minutes. The company manufactures Styrofoam coolers. Photos taken 20 minutes into the call. Box 690 provided rehab.
