Bridgeport Factory Fire 1 Stratford Ave

09/04/15 Bridgeport, CT – Firefighters responded to this location just after noon time and found numerous small fires throughout the structure. They were back an hour later to find one section of the factory complex with heavy smoke and fire showing. Companies made an interior push, but had to back out due to water pressure issues. The fire grew in intensity and a defensive operation was started. Six engines, two trucks and the fireboat fought the fire for an hour an a half to bring it under control. This complex has been the scene of numerous fires over the years.

Glencoe (IL) firefighters were called to 986 Skokie Ridge Drive around 8:30PM on Friday night (9/4/15) for smoke in the house. The alarm was upgraded to a Code 4 for the working fire on arrival and then to a Box Alarm for additional companies within 10 minutes. The fire was located in the basement and the walls at the rear of the house. There were no reported injuries. Here are some images and a brief video.

This was about 0100 Monday morning at 4874 Lincoln Ave. A bar on the first, bowling alley above. Fire reported to be through the roof on arrival. During the initial attack a member from Engine 110 was reported missing, but thankfully was located in short order and ok. Heavy fire throughout the top floor and through the roof on my arrival. Tower ladders 21, 23, and 14, Squad 2, Reserve Snorkel 1, and 110 deck gun were among the master streams used. Click here to see all the images
