I was in Maryland recently and took in a 2-Alarm fire at 224 Percheron Drive in the town of Gambrills in Anne Arundel County. There was a major storm passing through the area and this was most likely the result of a lightning strike. The fire was out when I got there and a second storm cell came through. In addition to the county units, multiple departments were at the scene including Glen Burnie, Fort Meade, BWI Airport, and Earleigh Heights.

Here are a few shots from this Wednesday’s fire at 304 S 5th Ave, in Maywood, IL (8/17/16). They had heavy fire on arrival in the rear of this large frame house. By the time I got there, companies were having a lot of difficulty chasing the fire in the void spaces up on the second floor and in the attic. Eventually I’ll have a lot more images on my site
